About the Role
· Experience in UI test automation using Selenium, performance testing basics and security / authentication automated testing.
· Experience in BDD style Automation (SpecFlow desired)
· Experience in code refactoring and Git best practices.
· Basic cloud concepts and knowledgeable about Azure
· Solid understanding of REST APIs, web services and microservice architecture
· Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation
· Practical experience with functional programming concepts will be advantageous
Requirements
· Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver projects on time with high quality
· Understand requirements from Product Owners/Business Analysts
· Create test cases in the BDD format
· Automate the features and user stories using SpecFlow, Selenium and C# using Visual Studio
· Run the automation tests in Azure Pipeline to provide continuous integration and delivery
· Work with developers and other automation testers to deliver projects as a team
· Provide improvements to the existing Automation framework [Optional]
Core Skills
The ideal candidate will have one or more of the following certifications (or equivalent experience)
· ISTQB Test Analyst
· Basic certification in Azure
